Last night the North Star led me astray
And I found myself; lost in the Milky Way
Last night the North Star led me astray
And I found myself; lost in the Milky Way
When you’ve ended your stay in the milky greys
Reach escape velocity
We’ll meet in Cigar, light it up on a star
And inhale the Q.R.V
Wanderlust through time and space,
And over deep blue sea
Won’t reach a final resting place,
‘Less you’ve packed Q.R.V.
The Sun erstwhile waited
For the Moon to glow
He waxed and waned,
And wooed and wailed
But she never showed
Sure as the Atlantic tide
Sure as MY Cam will collide
Sure as winter harbours spring
Sure as ends are beginnings
Sure as I could ever be,
That moon will bring you back to me
Sailing through the sky
Navigated by our cosmos
When she’s full upon the Earth
Elysian follows to be followed
Jupiter’s shining, Mercury’s rising
The Sun is soaking me
In his golden haze, I could die for days
Sipping dregs of Q.R.V.
The moon told me where you come from
A searing cosmic explosion
The seed of creativity
And, by God, you were meant to be
Serendipity
The very word born of the sea
She whispers close and wanders far
And guides us by the light of stars
Her role in Time’s totality: universal anonymity
You, You
Always you
My starry night
My morning moon
